Head of ETF Strategy appointment
HSBC ASSET MANAGEMENT APPOINTS HEAD OF ETF STRATEGY
March 11, 2021 - HSBC Asset Management has appointed Dominic Clabby as Head of ETF Strategy. Dominic will be based in London and report to Carmen Gonzalez-Calatayud, Head of ETF Capability.
Dominic will be responsible for driving the firm’s ETF product strategy and leading the expansion of the recently created ETF Strategy function. He brings with him over 17 years’ experience within the investment industry, seven of which focusing on ETF strategy and distribution.
Dominic joins from Invesco ETFs, formerly Source ETFs, where he headed the product engagement function. Prior to that, he held a number of roles within distribution at AXA Distribution Services and Fidelity International.

Growing its ETF range, particularly in areas such as ESG, Asia and fixed income, is one of the firms’ strategic growth initiatives. The firm currently manages USD86 billion in passive strategies and USD 13.1 billion in ETF strategies1.
